Opera Parallèle Submission Form for Singers, Instrumentalists, Librettists, and Composers
Thank you for your interest in Opera Parallèle (OP). Please use this form to share samples of your work according to the following guidelines:
Singers
Optional but highly encouraged: Resume or CV.
Required: Videos of at least two arias. At least one must be in English. At least one must be from the 20th or 21st century. Please clearly identify the composer and title of each piece.
Instrumentalists
Optional but highly encouraged: Resume or CV.
Required: Videos of at least two contrasting audition excerpts from the orchestral or operatic repertoire of the 20th and/or 21st century. Please clearly identify the composer and title of each piece.
Librettists
Optional but highly encouraged: Resume or CV.
Required: Libretti for at least two scenes (or excerpts of reasonable length). If applicable, please clearly identify the composer(s) and/or any other collaborators.
Optional: Brief plot summaries and/or character descriptions for the scenes or excerpts provided.
Composers
Optional but highly encouraged: Resume or CV.
Optional: Live recordings, MIDI files, or videos.
Required: Scores for at least two scenes (or excerpts of reasonable length). Full scores are preferred, but not required. If applicable, please clearly identify the librettist(s) and/or any other collaborators.
Optional: Brief plot summaries and/or character descriptions for the scenes or excerpts provided.
If you would like to submit materials for more than one artist category, you are welcome to do so.
